Sitting quietly as Josie & Tina Marie name off the 14 fabulous nominees. Four different categories of winners, DRUM ROLL... and the winner of Internet show of the year..... "Ocean's Pit" Tony's lip quivering & tears welled up in his eyes takes the walk to the Big stage at the Grand Ole Opry. Waiting patiently for his turn to give his acceptance speech, Tony then wows the audience with his humor of the last time he heard his name called he was in court joke. We all had a great laugh. He humbly accepted his prestigious award. 

What's Ocean's Pit?

For most of his 30 years as Tony Ocean performing over 8000 shows, Moe Carrara has entertained people in so many nightclubs, restaurants, and concert venues that it's impossible to list them all. Tony is one of, if not the top local entertainers in our area. Like a fine wine, he gets better with age. Many will say he is "the hardest working man in show business". Tony Ocean has now taken his brand to the digital world. What started out with Tony sitting around the fire pit during Covid to stay connected with his audience has now evolved into a passion to create entertainment and engagement for the live audience. Tony welcomes celebrity guests, entertaining performers and social influencers from all walks of life. Recents guests have included Michael Madsen-notably recognized for his role as Mr. Blonde, in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs, Tom Dreesen-Opener for Frank Sinatra for 14 years, Bobby Valli-brother of Frankie Valli, Willie Rizzo-son of Jilly Rizzo (Frank Sinatra's bodyguard), Ron Onesti-President & CEO at Onesti Entertainment, Arcada Theatre and The Des Plaines Theatre. Stan Woznak from Jilly's, Mimi Betinis from Pezband, former NY Met Buzz Capra, Elliot Thorpe from the UK runs the Dean Martin Association. Now lets add some current & past events, music history and on Thursdays,Tony welcomes his wife Laura (the audience refers to as the next Burns & Allen, Ralph & Alice), and of course, you'll get bits of Tony's unfiltered opinions. Come sit back and enjoy the fun. OCEAN'S PIT is a daily Facebook talk show referred to as "the little show about big things". It's an hour of fun and conversation Monday-Friday at 12:00 noon.

What a 2022 for Mr. Ocean

Celebrated 30 years in the business selling out the Des Plaines Theater, then on the cover of Fra Noi magazine (Chicagoland's Italian American Voice), and his own float at the Columbus Day Parade on State Street.

And then an award-winning talk show. There really isn't much this Chicagoland legend hasn't done or can't accomplish!
