WorkSafe Saskatchewan Working at Heights Training Standard

WorkSafe Saskatchewan has introduced a new Working at Heights Training Standard outlining minimum requirements for WCB-approved training programs in Saskatchewan. The standard is voluntary and does not change current legislative requirements; however, employers must still ensure workers are properly trained before performing work that requires a fall protection system. The standard covers key theory and practical topics, including fall hazards, fall protection equipment, anchor points, ladders, work platforms and rescue planning.
