Muskegon has been named one of the country's top 10 metro areas, according to Site Selection Magazine.

Each year, the internationally circulated publication rates metro areas in terms of the number of major economic development projects happening in the region. With six projects involving a capital investment of at least $1 million, Muskegon tied for the number 10 spot alongside Saginaw, Michigan and Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford, Virginia.
New entertainment options are coming to Downtown Whitehall.

An eight lane bowling alley, restaurant and distillery are included in the plans for the former Habitat for Humanity location, 112 East Colby Street. The facility, coined "Pinheads," is planned to house various local bowling leagues and provide indoor outdoor options for recreation.

The project is expected to be completed this summer.
