'Top 15 Things to Do at Lakeside!'  
This summer’s Lakeside Symphony Orchestra (LSO) concert series will provide audiences with five classical music performances, one Pops concert and, for the first time ever, two youth matinee concerts.

Hoover Auditorium
Steve Hartman, Emmy Award-winning “CBS News” contributor and longtime Lakesider, will return to Hoover Auditorium to share his favorite stories featuring youth who have made a difference in the lives of others.

Wynonna & The Big Noise will make their Lakeside debut on the Hoover Auditorium stage. Respected by the millions of fans who are drawn to her music and undeniable talent, Wynonna’s rich and commanding voice has sold more than 30 million albums spanning her remarkable

Walkers, joggers and runners of all ages will take to the streets of Lakeside for the 39th Annual 5k Raccoon Run and One-Mile Fun Run. Register online through Ohio Race Day. Day-of-race registration begins at 7 a.m. in Chautauqua Hall.
6-9 p.m. Sunday, July 28
Catawba Island Club
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of the arts. The evening will begin with Rhein Center artist demonstrations and cocktails, and continue with food stations and music.

Throughout the night, meet the Lakeside Chautauqua Programming staff, including Michael Shirtz, Senior Vice President of Programming; Shirley Stary, Vice President of Arts Programming; Daniel Meyer, LSO Music Director & Conductor; and Michelle Johansen, C. Lakeside Chautauqua welcomes Chris Holtmann, Ohio State University’s Men's Head Basketball Coach, as keynote speaker of the annual Prayer Breakfast.

Holtmann will be joined by Susan Stewart, former Canadian Olympic basketball player, to share their faith journeys. Limited tickets available.

Hoover Auditorium
One of the most awarded female vocalists in Christian music history, Sandi Patty returns to Lakeside. Her most recent album, Everlasting, features acoustic versions of notable hymns and worship songs. She also released her first full symphonic pops album, Broadway Stories, under the conduction of Maestro Jack Everly.

Hotel Lakeside Lawn
This new festival along Lakeside’s scenic waterfront features some of the greatest summer pastimes – live music and BBQ. Fun for the whole family, Lakeside’s Blues, Views & BBQ Festival showcases the music of Colin Dussault’s Blues Project and Sean Carney, and invites guests to sample delicious BBQ favorites and participate in organized park games, such as Gaga Ball, sand volleyball and field day games.

Lakeside will honor the 20th Anniversary of the Rhein Center and the 100th Anniversary of Epworth Lodge in a ceremony at the Rhein Center. Join us for a celebration of stories, history and refreshments.

The legendary pop soul voices of Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr. will fill Hoover Auditorium. Originally part of the group The 5 th Dimension, they will perform classics such as “Up, Up and Away,” “Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In” and “Worst That Could Happen.”

Join Sigma Pro photographer David FitzSimmons for a three-day photo workshop along the beautiful south shore of Lake Erie, exploring everything from landscapes and macro to wildflowers and wildlife.

More than 85 dealers will display antiques including china, glassware, furniture, quilts, fine and costume jewelry, ladies’ accessories, kitchen supplies, sports memorabilia, books, postcards, area souvenirs, linens, vintage clothing, dolls, sterling and more.

Hoover Auditorium
The OSU Alumni Band is the largest
all-brass and percussion college alumni band in the U.S. It’s comprised of OSU graduates ranging in age from their early 20s to their late 80s. Fan favorites, such as “Buckeye Battlecry” and “Hang on Sloopy,” will be played, along with jazz, marches, contemporary music and big band hits.
7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31
Hoover Auditorium
Rockapella has become one of the world’s most sophisticated, lasting and imitated vocals groups of modern music. In this new era of a capella fandom, few groups are more influential with their sound. Following the show, a fireworks display will be showcased along the waterfront.
