While it's so valuable to use our words to express love, there are plenty of ways you can show people you care without ever saying a word. As the old cliche goes, actions speak louder than words! With that being said, here are 4 ways you can spread your ripple and show love in 2020...

FOSTER LOVE

Nearly 14,000 foster children in Michigan need temporary homes where they can feel safe, secure and loved. You will never regret loving a child. Consider becoming a foster parent today! Attend an orientation and see what's involved –
it 's not as much as you think.

HOST A DRIVE

Our Refugees (New Americans) are people of all ages who are forced from their own countries and arrive in Michigan with very few possessions. For many New American’s this is their first experience in a cold climate. Show love by hosting a cold weather clothing or coat drive at your school or place of business.

CREATE YOUR FOREVER FAMILY

Roughly 2,500 children in Michigan yearn for their “forever family” right now. Through Samaritas’s Adoption program (LAS) you can help a child find a “life-long loving family.” Learn more about whether adoption is right for you!

BE THE ROCK - START THE RIPPLE

Be the Rock and Ripples Gala are Samaritas’ cornerstone fundraising events. The money raised helps support all of the services we offer through the Good Samaritan fund. It's a great place to network, learn more about Samaritas, and simply have a great time while raising funds for a great cause. Want to make a bigger splash? Consider becoming a signature sponsor or event committee member!

FAMILY CENTER VOLUNTEER DAYS

Calling all "do-it-yourselfers" and weekend project warriors!

Samaritas and St. Paul Lutheran Church of Dearborn are hosting a series of volunteer events in the next few weeks to give the Samaritas Family Center in Westland a fresh new look.
