Frequently Asked Questions
Hybrid Learning
What does the ASD hybrid model look like?

ASD is finalizing plans to use a hybrid model of instruction to help reduce the number of students in our building at any given time. This means that teachers will simultaneously provide instruction to students who are in-person in their classrooms and at home learning remotely.

Students will learn in-person on some days and remotely on others based on an assigned cohort.

NO STUDENTS will report to buildings on Wednesdays when our custodians will conduct a deep-clean of the building. On Wednesdays, staff will provide small group instruction/ office hours. Students will log in and work remotely.
COVID Vaccination Update
The Allentown School District continues to partner with the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate unit to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to educators under the guidance given by the PA Department of Education.

Staff who answered YES to the most recent survey should check their email for updates from the IU regarding scheduling appointments for this weekend.

We are excited to host this clinic for educators at Dieruff High School!
