Farmington Area PTA Council kicks off the week with their Founders' Day Celebration

This evening, Monday, March 10, the Farmington Area PTA Council is hosting its annual Founders' Day Celebration. In their words, "This event honors those who came before us and celebrates our peers who advocate for the future of our children."


This year, the Farmington Area PTA Council is excited to welcome Farmington High School Alum, Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist, as their special guest.


Congratulations to all of those receiving special honors tonight!


Commission on Children, Youth & Families host Career & Hiring Fair - Monday, March 10

All are invited to attend and think outside the four-year degree box and learn about in-demand and high-paying jobs and educational opportunities. 


FPS teachers spend Friday afternoon enhancing their teaching

During the afternoon on Friday, March 7, Farmington Public Schools' teachers spent their afternoon learning with their peers. Some of the sessions were: "Maximizing Engagement through lesson design and reflection," "Using TinkerCAD simulation and 3D Modeling to create engaging student lessons and activities," "Designing for Authentic Learning," and "Wit and Wisdom Module Planning." All of these sessions tie into our Profile of a Lifelong Learner.

North Farmington High School senior, Leah Hodge, first gymnast to win back-to-back all-around titles since 2013-14

Leah Hodge had the second-highest all-around score in Friday's team competition. On Saturday, she rebounded to capture the top honor in Division 1 with a score of 38.325! Congratulations to Leah on this great accomplishment!!
