Superintendent Coffin to speak at the Chamber's Annual State of the Cities event on Tuesday, April 1

On Tuesday, April 1, the Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual State of the Cities event. Featured speakers are Superintendent Dr. Kelly Coffin along with Peter Provenzano from Oakland Community College and the two mayors - Joe LaRussa from the City of Farmington and Theresa Rich from the City of Farmington Hills. We hope to see you there!

FPS Hackbots competing in FIRST Robotics State Tournament this week!

The Hackbots are proud to announce that they have qualified for the FIRST in MI State Championship! The Team will compete April 3-5 at Saginaw Valley State University and invite everyone to follow along with their matches on Twitch. North Farmington High School proudly presents its latest hit musical, "Freaky Friday." Based on the classic novel and beloved films, this heartwarming and hilarious show follows teenager Ellie Blake and her mother, Katherine, as they experience the weirdest, wildest, and freakiest day of their lives.

Farmington Public Schools honors students who have shown perseverance, resilience, and growth at Rise & Thrive event - April 3

The Farmington Public Schools’ Rise and Thrive Awards program recognizes students in grades 7-12 who have demonstrated significant growth in their lives. Factors to be considered include grades, behavior, community service, involvement in school activities, and individual personal growth.


This year's breakfast will be held on Thursday, April 3 where we will come together to celebrate the students who were selected for this honor. Thank you to Focal Point Studio of Photography for donating special photos of the honored students with their families.


This program is supported by the Farmington Hills Police Department and the Farmington Public Safety Department, as well as other community partners. Other sponsors and supporters include the Farmington/Farmington Hills Xemplar Club, Springbrook Florist, Farmington Youth Assistance, Farmington Civic Theater, the Hawk Community Center, and Power Middle School PTA.
