Former Beechview students' book is released on Amazon!

After a successful collaboration with Beechview Elementary School students last year in writing a book, author Andy Gutman returned to Beechview last spring to work with 15 fifth graders (now sixth graders at East Middle School) who were selected by their teachers to work with the author. Gutman mentored the students throughout the writing process, and helped them bring their stories to life. The title of their book is "From Fearful to Fearless." These brave authors decided to become introspective and look at their own fears and how they overcame them. We are very proud of their efforts to share their personal stories in hopes of helping others grow and overcome fears they have as well.

The book was recently released on Amazon and you can purchase a copy here. Proceeds from the book will benefit Beechview Elementary School!

Congratulations to our newly published authors and thank you to Andy Gutman for his support of Beechview Elementary School and our students!
