Scout News: January 12 
Pinewood Derby Workshop: This Saturday, 1/14 from 9am-1pm. Come by anytime to work on your cool pinewood derby car. Tools provided, you build the car! In the LB Scout Shop parking lot at 401 E 37th St 90807. Shop will be open to buy your kit, decals, weights, or supplies.

Calif. Eagle Scout of the Year

Get this! Long Beach Eagle Scout Tommy Giese was named The 2016 Eagle Scout of the Year by the California Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. Congrats, Tommy!

Scout-O-Rama 2017

Saturday, June 3 - Mark your calendars! The annual Scout-O-Rama family fun expo comes back to Heartwell Park from 9am to 2pm. Theme announced: Build and Adventure. 
Camp Cards Preview

Saturday, March 18 - We will kickoff the Spring Camp Cards season. Like last year, the cards will sell for $5 and have attractive community coupons. Stay tuned for more information on camp cards.  
Eagle Scouts Tally: 61 in '16

It's true... in 2016, we saw 61 Eagle Scouts in our council. That's a total of 491 large-scale project in our community since January 1, 2010 in the Long Beach Area Council alone!
Give Blood, Give Life

Thursday, January 19 - All eligible donors are asked to give blood next week across the street from our Long Beach Scout Shop. Click for info here. Blood drive put on by the American Red Cross.
