SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico: Gaming in Puerto Rico has seen tremendous changes over the years. The considerable growth in the region’s gaming industry will be discussed in detail by regulatory, political, and operational leaders at the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) Winter Meeting, December 10-13 at the Fairmont El San Juan.

Gaming in Puerto Rico has evolved significantly, from the introduction of the lottery to gambling establishments developed to attract tourism to localized gambling in the regulated and unregulated space. As new companies enter the market, Puerto Rico could be on the cusp of a gaming renaissance.

Top legislators and regulators in the Puerto Rico gaming space will explain the landscape in the region – how they got there and where they are going. How will continued expansion and momentum for new projects affect Puerto Rico and the mainland United States?

The General Session – titled “Adelante Puerto Rico” – will be chaired by Senator Bill DeMora of Ohio. Presenters will include:
