Nonprofit Trends and Best Practices with Jean Block
  • A nationally recognized consultant, trainer and author on nonprofit management, board development and fundraising, Jean will review the six emerging trends and issues facing nonprofits. She will explore suggestions and ideas with you on how to address these challenges for continued success. The author of five nonprofit books, Jean lives in Albuquerque, and has long been active in the nonprofit sector as a staff and board leader for several local, regional and national nonprofits.
 
Applying Thinking Big and Being Bold to Transform the Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri with Joy Wheeler, CEO of this Girl Scout Council

Using Your Network to Connect with Your Community with Maryann Edwards
  • A long-time resident of Temecula, CA, Maryann will capitalize on her vast experiences in public service at the local, county, state and federal levels and her membership in Assistance League for more than 25 years. Maryann has supported residents and businesses in Riverside County, California, the tenth largest county in the nation, for the past 30 years in the areas of business development, education, public safety, transportation, economic development and legislative issues impacting local control. She earned her master’s degree in governance and was recognized by the California School Boards Association for her outstanding advocacy for children and education.

Looking In to Reach Out with Dr. Kelly Rawlings   
  • This associate professor at the University of Southern California will help you identify innovative approaches to strengthen your governance, strategic planning, decision-making and public engagement skills. At USC, Dr. Rawlings designs, develops and teaches courses on public and nonprofit leadership and management, philanthropy and strategic planning.
