Do you need a pick-me-up as we head towards winter? With all the doom and gloom in the news it’s good to focus on things we can control - let us help you bring the spark back into your AW22 look without investing huge amounts of money but by ensuring you FEEL better.

Wardrobes used to be trunks & we would wear everything we owned. Now our wardrobes are huge with 70% of clothes not earning their keep. Education on what works best for you is key to using less to do more.

We have long known that what we wear impacts greatly on how we feel, so let me share some hints and tips to support you.

I also have some exciting new services that can show you new and exciting ways to wear your colours

Best wishes,

Margaret

Give that Wardrobe a new lease of life!

Did you know that I can come and help you organise your wardrobe?

It is more than just a tidy up, I can help you restyle some of your existing clothes to look more on trend, find key pieces for you to create new looks with just the addition of one new piece like a statement belt or a new pair of on trend boots? We can help you use less to do more with.

Meanwhile here are some quick checks for packing away your summer items:

Empty them out of the wardrobe

Before you store them folded up check them:

  • Did you wear this item a lot this summer?
  • Do you still feel excited about it? if yes, then fold it up and store!

If you are unsure:

  • Does it still fit nicely? Does it bring you joy? If not then why not sell it?
  • Has it worked hard for you and now looks tired - then either refresh it or pass onto a charity shop.

Lastly do not pack away items that you won't wear next year!

We all have items that we do not wear to their fullest potential and this will show you how to maximise their usage. I can do this for a minimum of two hours at a rate of £80 per hour and I guarantee you will be left with lots more inspiration without spending a fortune and you will feel amazing afterwards! Top tips to help you keep warm this winter!

If you are resisting putting the heating on, there are plenty of other ways you can keep warm as we move towards winter.

Light layering makes a big difference and the bonus here is that you easily remove layers if you get too warm.

A poncho is a super layering piece and is quick and easy throw on. Be mindful of your body shape and use a belt to cinch it in if needed.

Gilets and vests are warm, and not too bulky. Look for shapes that align with your body and details/patterns that accentuate your style. Adding a brooch/badge or layering over a top with an interesting collar, will add stylish detail. Cardigans (if they suit) are an obvious choice but longline versions (sometimes called coatigans) offer extra warmth. Last but not least, there are numerous ways to use a scarf. Ask me for tips and why not sign up to a scarf styling session – this is great fun to do with friends!
