The George has been undergoing some exciting changes. First we would like to thank Colleen Underhill for stepping in as “On Site Property Manager”. Colleen has taken over these responsibilities and not skipped a beat. The homeowners love her and the building looks as luxurious as ever.
Sales continue at a steady rate, spring and summer always bring in that extra foot traffic as clients are out in force looking at the property. Jordan has been working with a local company to do a Touring Virtual Floor Plan for the Penthouse Unit.

The George team has rolled out a beautiful design book to show off the building amenities during tours.

Germantown Mill Bark Park

We were recently interviewed by WHAS and the piece aired on Easter 11 pm news cast. The piece was about our recent property addition, the Germantown Mill Bark Park. The focus was on Downtown Living and the increase of pet friendly properties. Properties that are building pet parks and pet spa amenities instead of family playgrounds. The piece was very well done, and we had a few 4 legged friends that were interviewed as well. This highly anticipated bark park features turf, GML Logo water bowls, tennis balls for pet exercise, complementary dog treats and a pet waste station. Our residents have been over the moon about this new addition and have even formed their own social pet and pet owner play dates and gatherings.
The pet spa area is under construction and due to be completed soon. Another great feature for our pet parents.

We continue to tour daily, and maintain 100% occupancy.

Things at Heritage Green are moving right along. We are anticipating newly renovated units in the next few weeks. They are going to be fabulous with a modern twist. This will give Heritage Green the advantage of offering traditional and modern style units.

In anticipation of adding additional units to manage at Heritage Green, we have built a strong foundation of staff. We are fortunate to have a superlative core team to build on in the future.

New Employee Welcome Lunch at the Post.

After extensive structural work, the original Colonial Gardens building is getting windows and siding installation.
During the next week, the long awaited beer garden patio will be poured with installation of the engraved brick area to follow.
Once this area is completed, we plan to have a dedication for all of those who had bricks made. We will also have a dedication of the State Historic Marker.

We have two additional exciting restaurant concepts that are now seeking bank approval.

We are hopeful neighbors will be understanding that new tenant announcements and exact dates for openings can be a little hard to peg. Thankfully, those who have endured years of blight and inactivity on this highly visible street corner continue to be excited to witness the progress, which is evident with each week of construction.

Across the street from Colonial Gardens, Todd and Jeff Underhill are purchasing the former Jimbo’s Barbecue building. It will provide space for a fifth new restaurant. There are negotiations underway with an exciting concept. Once a deal is consummated, renovations of the property are anticipated.

This location will be the largest Taco Luchador to date, as operator Fernando Martinez expects great demand from neighbors and the Iroquois Amphitheater traffic.
Opening this June!

UNION 15

Union 15 will be the first of its kind, featuring high end pizza and craft beers. Operator Paul Blackburn is a third generation South Ender and very excited to return to his roots. He also has the successful Couvillion Restaurant in Germantown Mill Lofts. The name Union 15 is a take on Kentucky’s history, joining the US as the 15 th state in the Union.
They plan to open in late June.

Brick ordering still available.
