Underhill Associates is excited to soon unveil 44 apartments within the LOUMED district. Once the University of Louisville dental school and on the verge of demolition, Myers Hall has been converted to Myers Medical Lofts which will be home to local medical faculty, interns, fellows, nurses, and graduate students. Ironically, Myers’ first resident will be a University of Louisville Dental Graduate Student who is moving in on August 1st.

Go baby go….Residents of Highland Court enjoyed Derby festivities while making hats with Lysa. They were able to show off their hats at the Derby High Tea Party complete with finger sandwiches and sweet treats.
Everyone took time out to pitch in and make table arrangements for the upcoming Fourth of July Cookout. 
Summer will continue to have great fun with bingo and movie night!

Project Pipeline
1140 Cherokee Road Church
Underhill Associates is excited to announce our latest venture. We purchased the historic Highlands United Methodist Church at 1140 Cherokee Road in February 2022. The historic church was built in 1895 and served the Cherokee Triangle and Highlands neighborhoods until closing the congregation in late 2021. Highlands United Methodist reached out to Underhill Associates to acquire the 20,000-square-foot church because they believed we had the right vision to adapt the building while celebrating the church’s storied history.
Underhill Associates plans to redesign the sanctuary and educational building into 18 residential apartments. We are currently re-zoning the property and assembling the architectural and design team. Construction is anticipated to begin in Late 2022 / Early 2023. Exciting things to come to the Cherokee Triangle and Highlands neighborhoods!
Underhill Associates was named the 2022 Founders Award honoree.
