The March 6th Membership Meeting included presentations from MPD Second District Commander Duncan Bedlion and Third District Captain Riley Hong Police and generous time for residents to share crime and safety concerns and ask about policies, safety tips, and emerging crime trends. The officers promoted the anonymous tip line for non-emergency calls: call 202-727-9099 or text the 5-0 to 411 (50411). We also took time to discuss ABRA issues, the Connecticut deckover and some new issues that were on members and neighbors minds. We enjoyed socializing post-meeting with those who were able to stay.
Next month's membership meeting will be held in person at the incomparable Belmont House, 1618 New Hampshire Ave. The DC Taxpayer Advocate will be the featured speaker.
