The following article from our ministry partner
the Toronto Urban Native Ministry is an example of the work that your donation to FaithWorks supports.

The Toronto Urban Native Ministry (TUNM) is unique in Ontario. Working out of our office at the Church of the Holy Trinity in downtown Toronto and in the community, we support both Traditional Indigenous Spiritualities and world-views as well as Christian Spiritual practices, showing that they can walk together in harmony.

Founded in 1996, TUNM interacts with more than 8,000 lives each year. We reach out to Indigenous people on the street, in hospitals, in jails, shelters and hostels, providing counseling, ceremony, spiritual care and referrals to community services.
TUNM also participates in sacred gatherings of Indigenous people, leading and participating in Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals, Sacred Fires, Sunrise Ceremonies, Sweat Lodges, Pipe Ceremonies, Sunday Services, Sharing and Healing Circles, Spirit Namings and Feasts.
TUNM facilitates the reconciliation process between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.

Since it's inception, TUNM has been committed to supporting all members of our communities including Two-Spirit and LGBTTIQ+ people.

TUNM is a shared ecumenical ministry of the United Church of Canada and The Anglican Church of Canada.

National Indigenous Peoples Day is June 21

A generous donor has offered a $100,000 matching challenge grant for all new and increased donations. That means for every dollar raised over last year’s amount, by an individual or parish, FaithWorks receives an extra dollar. We encourage you to make a special effort this year.

Doing a little more can make twice the difference.

We build healthy, missional Anglican communities that engage faithfully with the world and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that my office resides on the territory of sovereign Indigenous Nations, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat. I acknowledge especially the Mississaugas of the Credit and the Toronto Treaties.
