Torrance Public Library Meeds Assessment We need YOU to help make your library even better!

Give Your Input for the Torrance Public Library

We are launching a comprehensive Needs Assessment for the Torrance Public Library, and your input is essential. This effort will evaluate how the Library can best serve the community now and into the future, including its services, spaces, programs, and technology. Community feedback will help ensure the Library reflects the needs and priorities of Torrance residents.

We invite you to take a few minutes to complete the community survey and, if you’re interested, sign up for a focus group to share your perspectives in more depth. Whether you’re a frequent visitor or haven’t been to the Library in a while, your voice matters.

See flyer for a list of upcoming focus group dates and locations.

ANIMAL CONTROL

Torrance Ranger's Shield

Lost your Pet? We're here to help!

If your pet has gone missing, we’re here to help. Torrance Animal Control recommends creating a digital lost pet poster on PawBoost.com, which shares your post on its website and across social media platforms. You can also post on neighborhood apps to reach your local community.

You’re welcome to contact Torrance Animal Control to check if your pet has been picked up. We also suggest checking with the Carson Animal Shelter.

Torrance Animal Control will scan any lost or found pet for a microchip. If your pet isn’t microchipped, we strongly recommend getting one. It greatly increases the chances of being reunited with your pet.

Need to get your pet Vaccinated or Microchipped?

We partner with Low Cost Pet Vaccines to offer affordable vaccines and microchipping for dogs, cats, and rabbits. Clinics are held on the fourth Sunday of each month at Wilson Park from 12 to 2 p.m.

As a friendly reminder, ALL dogs in Torrance are REQUIRED to be licensed. To get or renew a license, visit Torrance.docupet.com.
