Get Ready for this FREE Event
Touch-A-Truck Tomorrow

This year the City of Palm Coast Public Works Department will out-do itself for its second Touch-a-Truck event in Central Park featuring more than 70 vehicles from multiple agencies including; City of Palm Coast Public Works, Stormwater, Utility and Fire Departments, Flagler County Fire Rescue, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, East Flagler Mosquito Control District, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida National Guard and NASCAR.

To help ensure an excellent experience for everyone attending this event there will be a special "horn-free" hour from 10AM – 11AM for children with sensitive hearing or special needs. After this time period, guests will be able to use equipment horns at the vendor or agency's discretion. Please be mindful that all equipment showcased can be loud, and those sensitive are suggested to wear ear protection.

Volunteers Collected Over a Half-Ton of Trash
at Keep Palm Coast Clean Event

On Saturday, May 14th, the City of Palm Coast hosted its Second Keep Palm Coast Clean event. Volunteers began gathering at the Public Works Department early Saturday morning where they received trash bags, and briefing instructions before heading out to collect trash from various roadways and parks in Palm Coast. During this event, volunteers collected over 66 bags of trash equivalent to 1,100 pounds of trash. This includes heavy misc. items such as chairs, power bed, crates, car parts and tires.

City Manager Appoints Director of Parks & Recreation
|
Palm Coast City Manager Denise Bevan announced that she has appointed James Hirst as the new Director of the Parks and Recreation Department. Hirst joined the City of Palm Coast in June of 2014 as an Aquatics Supervisor and has risen through the ranks, achieving Outdoor Recreation Manager in September of 2018.

This months Citizen Spotlight recognizes the Flagler Palm Coast High School Boys Weightlifting Team, who were recently declared 2022 FHSAA State Champions, claiming the first weightlifting title in the school's history, and the first team state championship won in Flagler County since 2009. This year also saw 4 members of the team bring home State Championship honors in individual events. Great job, team!

The City of Palm Coast in partnership with AdventHealth will be hosting Pool Safety Day at Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool on Saturday, May 28th from 1-4 pm. Our lifeguards will lead fun activities to teach safety in and around the pool in a fun and engaging way. Activities will include pool games, mini Learn to Swim lessons, water safety information, basic first aid, log rolling, and more!

On Monday, May 30 the City of Palm Coast will host a Memorial Day Ceremony to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to the U.S. military. The Ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. at Heroes Memorial Park, 2860 Palm Coast Pkwy. NW, Palm Coast (1/2 mile west of the Flagler County Library). Parking is available along Corporate Drive and at the Library.

City Council Special Workshop Budget: Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 9:00 AM

There are periodic lane closures at the intersection of Sesame Boulevard at the eastern Smith Trail, due to construction of a City of Palm Coast Utility project which started on May 18th. Construction crews will be installing a raw water main for the Southern Wellfield, Equip 3 Wells and Raw Water Main, phase 3 project, currently under construction. These periodic lane closures will occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will continue for one week. For more information please click here.
