WABA Board Member, Joan Mainwaring appointed to NDHFA Advisory Board
WABA is pleased to announce that WABA board member, Joan Mainwaring, has been named to the ND Housing Finance Agency Advisory Board!

NDHFA Advisory Board members represent home builders, lenders, the residential real estate industry, the manufactured housing industry, and homeowners and buyers. Members are appointed by the Industrial Commission and provide advice regarding NDHFA programs. As an advisory committee member, Joan will provide input on several items including:

  • What are the barriers that prevent builders from producing homes under $250,000 and is there anything the agency could or should be doing to facilitate more construction of entry level homes?

  • How will builders respond to the Main Street Initiative? For example, will they look for infill opportunities for construction of SF spec homes? How will infill construction affect cost?

  • Are there adequate numbers of builders that will undertake adaptive reuse of existing buildings for multifamily?

  • And much more!

WABA would like to extend a big-thank you to Joan for volunteering her time to represent our industry.

Congrats Joan!
