League of NH Craftsmen Fair is in Full Swing

Monday at the Fair was a wonderful day with big crowds and beautiful weather.

The League has made a couple of major changes in setup this year. The Living with Crafts exhibit has been brought out into a wonderful tent in the middle of the grounds. It has been rebranded as Art, Craft & Design: The Exhibition. If you go to the fair, this tent is a must see.

The food setup has also been re-imagined. Really nice!

If you haven't been, you still have time. The fair runs through Sunday, August 11.

Guild Sponsored Awards
at League of NH Craftsmen Fair
The Guild sponsors two awards each year for Best in Wood Furniture and Best in Wood Turning. Judging is not done by the Guild.
Best in FurniturePeter Maynard for a Catlin Serving Console

Best in Wood Turning
Our own Claude Dupuis won Best in Wood Turning for his Blue Diamond tall segmented vase.

Claude's Blue Diamond was featured in the Spring 10th Anniversary issue of The Journal this year.

The Blue Diamond is the tall vase in the image to the right.

Wonderful work by both artisans.
