Good Afternoon, Friends,

Over the last couple of weeks at our Community Gatherings, we explored the ECC Touchstone of Welcome as it pertains to race. We were blessed to have Pastor Rodney Lynch lead us in conversation both weeks, and we were blessed to have Pastor Charles Walter and members from Second Baptist Church join us on February 19, 2020.

As Pastor Lynch was concluding the discussion on the 19th, he mentioned that we would be gathering at Second Baptist, three Wednesdays in March. After further conversation with Pastor Walter, Pastor Lynch, and Pastor Jorden we have decided that it is better for us to join other conversations in the greater Lafayette area during this Racial At-One-Ment experience. Although there is an option to attend on Wednesday evenings (see below), we will continue our regularly scheduled community gathering dinners and formation here at ECC.

We are committed to deepening our relationship with Second Baptist and are currently discussing how we can come together to grow in our relationship in the near future. In addition, we hope to replicate the Racial At-One-Ment learning experience with Second Baptist in September.

Below you will find a list of the churches who are hosting the Racial At-One-Ment experiential learning sessions. Multiple days/times are offered for each session to accommodate schedules. Congregants are welcome to attend the day/times of their choice and there is no need to register in advance. Simply show up.
