Memorial Day – Remember & Honor

Memorial Day is a day to honor our fallen heroes who bravely defended our country. To all the men and women who have given the greatest sacrifice one could give for our country, to protect our rights, beliefs, and freedom, we give pause to remember and honor you. |

Reminder: Touchstone operations, management, and maintenance will be closed Monday, May 29 in observance of the holiday and to allow our team members time with their families. |

TSPM would like to give a big shout out to Sandra Page for all of her hard work and impressive results at Farmville Park in Farmville, VA. She arrived in January into a tough situation...enormous A/R balance and delinquencies, over a dozen evictions that needed to happen, capex projects languishing & the fallout from a previous manager who was stealing from the company. Not a fun scenario! But with hard work, a drive to succeed, and a strong dose of leadership, Sandra has managed to turn things around in short order. Since January, Sandra has reduced the outstanding collections by approximately 65% including getting 4 tenants under eviction to pay in full and she has completed 9 evictions (in a very difficult legal environment in Prince Edward County) all while overseeing the Capex function at the park. The Capex work includes much needed storm water retention work on the expansion, overseeing the maintenance crew to complete required lot work on the expansion, and turning and renovating park owned homes. She was even able to orchestrate a new tenant moving their brand new home onto the park...a first for Farmville! There is still a significant amount of leasing needed to backfill the evicted tenants, but we are now in a good position to do so. Finally, Sandra has been performing her work and delivering results with an excellent attitude at great personal sacrifice (being away from home for months on end is really hard!) -- congrats to Sandra for living out the Touchstone values and being such a valuable contributor to the team. |

Memorial Day is the traditional start of summer but it also marks the end of another school year. Now, children of all ages are out of school, playing in yards and sometimes local streets. We ask all our employees to take extra caution as school is out. We, in our work and home communities, need to be vigilant in watching out for children. Remind others to be aware. Let's all take the extra time to help ensure our children's safety.

Timesheets - Check for accuracy!
Pay periods end on the 9th and 24th of each month. Please review Homebase immediately after the pay period ends, and report any corrections to your supervisor within 1 business day. ONLY YOUR SUPERVISOR CAN SUBMIT TIMECARD CORRECTIONS/CHANGES
Accurate clock ins/outs and breaks are a must for accurate payroll. Your prompt attention to timesheets is required.
