-ABOUT WSHU AND OUR VISIT-

To many of us, WSHU is a beloved friend.

We look to the station to provide great classical music entertainment with local news and NPR programming in-between.

Julie Freddino, Program Director/Sunday Baroque Producer welcomes us on our visit and she will be our host.

We'll enjoy a behind-the-scenes view of WSHU where we'll see the studios and broadcasting systems -- the technical side of the operation.

Better than that, we'll meet and talk with the station's program directors, newscasters, and classical music hosts -- those who shape WSHU’s coverage each day. They'll share with us how they produce the local newscasts and classical music programming that we so much appreciate.
