See the Boathouse Progress Up Close!
With the change of seasons comes exciting progress on the Boathouse Rehabilitation project. We’re excited to share the latest updates and let you in on what’s happening behind the scenes.
PROJECT UPDATES:
-
Site Approvals: Nearly all sign-offs are complete! This is awesome news!
-
NPS Clearance: The National Park Service has signed off on everything needed for now and won’t require additional approval for the contractor we choose.
-
Stormwater Challenges: Some issues remain with stormwater management that need to be resolved with DC authorities—it’s a tricky situation, but we’re on it.
-
Next Steps: We’ve finalized the scope of work and expect to be evaluating contractor bids in early November.
You’re invited to tour the Boathouse!
