Seven Secrets of Inclusive Hospitality - Next Session June 25

Sonoma County Tourism invites you to register for the next sessions of Seven Secrets of Inclusive Hospitality: a new complimentary training now available to Sonoma County partners and a key next step in our Wine Country for All of Us initiative. Whether you are a winery, lodging property, attraction, visitor center or any business, this is a unique and guaranteed opportunity to learn things you may not be thinking of in your guest service experience.




Discover how you can learn how to truly meet each visitor where they are.


Karin Demarest, Principal of Demarest Strategy Group, will present the secrets based on research across 17 traveler identities. Offering practical tools and perspectives to help your team create more welcoming guest experiences, it’s an approach to hospitality that creates a meaningful, kind, sensitive, empathetic, and joy-filled experience for your guests.

Become an AHP: Saturday Classes Available

The Accredited Hospitality Professional (AHP) program is a fun, educational initiative designed for Sonoma County’s hospitality workforce, highlighting what makes our region unique. The Foundational Five classes provide essential tools to create authentic visitor engagement while connecting you with fellow industry professionals.


It's an opportunity to network directly with other professionals in the industry and in all sectors: from winery, lodging, food, farm, activities, tour operators, arts, regional parks and more!


Employers: This is a minimal investment for professional development and collaboration for your team. Curated opportunities for participants with a variety of Educational Experiences every month, all with the purpose of driving business through your doors. Creating partnerships and new awareness of professionals that could be sending guests your way!

Get Ready for the Fourth of July Weekend


The Fourth of July holiday weekend is approaching, and now is the time to make sure you or your business is ready to welcome summer visitors.


Stock up on complimentary Sonoma County maps and visitor guides to help guests discover local communities, attractions, restaurants, wineries, outdoor experiences, and more.


How to Order Maps & Guides via the Hospitality Hub:

  1. Log in on SCT's Hospitality Hub
  2. Click “Collateral” in the left-hand menu
  3. Select “Material Request,” then “Add Material Request”
  4. Complete the form and select quantities

Hosting a Fourth of July celebration, live music event, fireworks display, family activity, or other holiday experience? Submit your event to Sonoma County Tourism’s events calendar so visitors can find it while planning their holiday weekend.

We provide gloves, bags, pickers, and safety vests. You bring layers, sturdy shoes, and a willingness to pitch in.



It’s a short morning with real impact and a great way to care for the places that care for our community. Come for the stewardship. Stay for the community. Leave knowing you helped protect Sonoma County’s land and water, and looked pretty cool doing it.

Celebrate Our 2026 Stars of the Industry Ceremony: Event Photos and Videos Now Available

Sonoma County Tourism proudly celebrated the recipients of the 2026 Stars of the Industry Awards on June 10 at The Event at Graton Resort & Casino. Photos and videos from the evening are now available, offering another opportunity to recognize the outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations that help make Sonoma County a welcoming and memorable destination.

Be Prepared This Wildfire Season

As we enter the heart of wildfire season, make sure that you and your guests are prepared. Sonoma County Tourism offers a comprehensive Be Prepared resource hub featuring crisis planning tools, visitor communication talking points, emergency preparedness resources, and a customizable Crisis Management Blueprint designed specifically for tourism and hospitality businesses. We ask that all partners please log into the Hospitality Hub and confirm or update your Fire Evacuation Zone. Keeping this information current helps ensure we can communicate important updates effectively if needed.

How to update your evacuation zone:

  1. Log into the Hospitality Hub
  2. From the left-hand dashboard, select Profile
  3. Click Business Accounts
  4. Select your account (If you manage multiple accounts, please update each one.)
  5. Under Account, click Edit
  6. Select the General tab
  7. Scroll to the Evacuation Zone section and choose your zone from the dropdown


How to find your evacuation zone:

Visit: https://socoemergency.org/get-ready/evacuation-map/
Search for your address, then select the corresponding zone in the Hospitality Hub. If you’re unable to locate your evacuation zone, please reach out to
hospitalityhub@sonomacounty.com, and we’ll be happy to assist. Thank you for helping us keep our records accurate and our community prepared.

Sip Along the Wine Road


On Saturday, June 20, celebrate Wine Road’s 50th anniversary during "The Good Ol’ Days", featuring complimentary tastings at participating wineries. Visitors can enjoy a throwback to Wine Road’s beginnings in 1976 while discovering wineries throughout the region. Wine Road is also offering free or two-for-one tastings every Thursday and Friday at more than 30 participating member wineries, giving visitors another way to “Sip Into the Weekend” throughout northern Sonoma County.
