Storm Impact Survey: Help Sonoma County Recover

Did the recent storm impact your business? If your organization experienced physical damage (e.g., damaged equipment, flooded facilities) or economic hardship (e.g., revenue loss, temporary closure), please complete the Economic Development Collaborative’s Business Damage Assessment Survey.

 

Your input is vital in assessing the storm’s impact and determining if our region qualifies for financial assistance to support recovery efforts.

Predictions 2025: Insights from Sonoma County's Visionaries

As we approach 2025, we’re turning to YOU, our valued Sonoma County Tourism partners—the trailblazers and innovators who shape the region’s dynamic tourism landscape—for your insights into the future.


The coming year promises exciting changes, challenges, and opportunities, and your unique perspective is key to understanding the trends that will define our industry. 


We invite you to share your forecasts for 2025 by reflecting on the following questions:

  • What are likely the biggest stories relating to your industry in 2025?
  • What trends will emerge in 2025?
  • Which trends will ascend or gain greater traction in 2025?
  • Which trends will fall out of favor in 2025?
  • What is one prediction you have that others might find surprising?

Recap: SCT Attends Signature Travel Network Conference

From November 11–14, 2024, SCT participated in the Signature Travel Network Conference in Las Vegas, a premier event connecting travel advisors, suppliers, and industry leaders.

 

Percy Stevens, SCT's Director of Travel Trade, completed 108 appointments, highlighting Sonoma County’s offerings to a highly engaged audience of luxury-focused travel advisors. By sharing a booth with See Monterey, SCT doubled its leads, creating even more opportunities to attract high-value visitors to our region.

 

Key takeaways included trends toward luxury and independent propertieswellness travel, and local lifestyle itineraries, offering insights to help partners align with evolving traveler preferences.

Email your promotions to publicrelations@sonomacounty.com, and we’ll feature them on our site and share them with media contacts to attract more holiday travelers to Sonoma County.

 

Want to showcase your festive side? Submit holiday-inspired photos that highlight the magic of the season at your business. Think charming decor, winter vineyard views, or unique holiday experiences. We’re looking for horizontally framed, high-quality images that capture the welcoming spirit of Sonoma County. Add your best shots to our digital asset library to inspire visitors.

 

Finally, let locals and travelers know you’re open during the season! Use SCT’s Hospitality Hub to tag your business as “Open on Christmas” and add relevant tags to ensure you’re featured on our popular holiday pages.

  1. Log into the Hospitality Hub
  2. Select Profile on the left sidebar
  3. Select Accounts
  4. Use the dropdown arrow to select Manage Amenities
  5. Find the “Holiday Openings” section
  6. Select the relevant tags, such as “Open on Thanksgiving” or “Open on Christmas Eve/Day”
  7. Save to appear on our holiday pages!
