March 7, 2023
The Spring/Summer digital guide has arrived and is now available for guests coming to Sonoma County to plan a truly customized and memorable visit. SCT moved from a print guide to a digital one during the pandemic and we’ve been delighted with the level of engagement for the piece. Huge congratulations to Jamie Trump, SCT’s Content and Social Media Manager for her work on this guide and to all our partners who support its creation through advertising and editorial partnerships.

The guide features snapshots into many of Sonoma County’s wonderful towns with a highlight on Petaluma. We introduce readers to Tucker Taylor, one of the area’s most accomplished makers, and feature a few “made in Sonoma County” products. The guide is designed to be an inspiration for visitors and locals alike. If you haven’t yet perused the e-book, visit the Visitors Guide & Maps page of SonomaCounty.com

Native Grasslands Planting Event
Sonoma County Tourism Cares is delighted to partner with Conservation Works on a native grasslands planting event at Paradise Ridge Winery on Friday, March 17 from 10am-noon. We invite our hospitality partners to join us as we plant native grasses (which helps prevent soil erosion and even assists in carbon sequestration) and milkweed (an important food source for the threatened monarch butterfly).

Those who join us will get to hear from experts at Conservation Works about the value of native plants and learn about its important role in the preservation of our ecosystem.
Volunteers will meet in front of the Paradise Ridge Winery tasting room at 4545 Thomas Lake Harris Drive, Santa Rosa, CA, 95403. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a water bottle and wear sun-protective clothing, hat, and comfortable close-toed shoes. Work tools and gloves will be provided by Conservation Works.
