To the victors go the spoils, and it seems no one was gonna spoil the start of the season for Montverde Academy. The Eagles validated why they've been ranked #1 in the nation by putting on a clinic throughout the tournament.

Led by tournament MVP Scottie Barnes and basketball phenom Cade Cunningham, the Eagles flexed on Sanford School, 81- 45, crossed up Whitney Young, 82 - 56, demolished former champion McEachern, 99- 48, and sealed it off with a masterful 63-55 win over highly-ranked rival IMG Academy.
