Hi, Everyone.

This past weekend was another busy one in the S2ozzie world. A P2P Saturday, a well contested Gold in the Boston suburbs, the College Squash World cooking along and some diligent squads at the ranch all added up to a weekend to savor. As always, you can read Lyall's reportage on the blog HERE - guaranteed to make you S2ozzie Proud and ready for the big events to come!

This Presidents' Day Long Weekend is perhaps the busiest competition weekend in program history as we will have over 50 S2ozzies competing all across the country so we'll be running a modified schedule back at the ranch:
  • Friday as normal
  • Saturday Club hours 8:00-11:00 and one squad 9:00-10:30
  • Sunday Club hours 1:00-4:00 and one squad 2:00-3:30
  • Monday Club hours 10:00-2:00 and one squad 11:00-12:30 with SAS 12:30-1:30
  • Tuesday returns to normal
There will be no lessons on Saturday, Sunday or Monday, but we'll get everything back to normal on Tuesday!

Four things to keep in mind:

(1) We will have coaches at the EA Silver, the Baltimore JCT and the New Jersey Gold. Coaching through the Silver and JCT are part of our initial plans, however as it is a late addition to the US Squash calendar, there will be an additional cost for players who wish a S2ozzie coach behind their court in NJ. Regardless of the event, please email Lyall directly to confirm you'd like our in game coaching!

(2) Phase 3 kicks off March 1st and the training schedule is HERE! Phase 3 is in some ways our most important phase and features the build up to Gold, Silver and Bronze National Championships. Much of the phase concentrates on technique and will have everyone well prepared for Summer Golds and more!

(3) Coach review and Planning Meetings commence next week and you may book online. The meetings will offer a review of player progress this season, and keep planning for goals and training moving forwards. If none of the potential appointments online work, please reply to this email and we'll find alternate times for you.

(4) A big congrats to all who competed so successfully at Middle School Nationals, especially our S2ozzies who ended up on the podium in Division 1. Four of the six players on the Haverford National Championship winning team were S2 players - congratulations on bringing home the title. Our third place finishers were the EA boys and AIS girls, amazingly all six members of the EA team were SAS Gold Members alongside the two AIS superstars. For more middle school nationals reportage, click the link HERE

Finally, good luck to all our proud S2ozzies this weekend. We're not quite in the Superbowl yet, but it's definitely playoff season and never forget #wewinstuff.

As always you can reply to this email with any questions or requests and we'll see y'all on the courts!
