Tournaments Draw Record Crowds

More Than 500 Play Last Weekend

More than 500 people from all over the state of Colorado (and beyond!) participated in STPC's two largest tournaments of the year this past weekend - the NTRP Tennis Tournament and the Mountain Town Classic Pickleball Tournament. Both events ran from Friday to Sunday and featured top-level play from talented players. Please enjoy our events re-cap below.

More than 250 players competed in the Mountain Town Classic Pickleball Tournament, hosted by Former #1 Player in the World Kyle Yates. Top teams played hard, but Yates came out on top in all of the divisions in which he played: Open Division 5+ Singles; Open Division Doubles 5+ with Nicolas Almeida and Open Division Mixed 5+ with STPC's very own Lexi Jensen (Way to go Lexi!)

One of the most popular matches that drew a cheering crowd was STPC's Head Pickleball Pro Dustin Spalding with Noelle Cerone against Lexi Jensen and Kyle Yates in the Open Division 5+ mixed. Thank you to all of our sponsors and vendors who attended to showcase their fabulous products - you added to the event in a fun way!

More than 250 players participated in the NTRP Tennis Tournament, which ran exceptionally smoothly thanks to Director of Tennis Jason Schicchitano. Top level players from all over the state competed with each other to reveal who was the best of the best. Saturday featured a Players Party, and many thanks to BLUE SAGE PIZZA for their contribution to the success of the party.

Construction In Full Swing!

Reminder - North Parking Lot Closed

Our construction crew is here, and work officially began Monday to renovate the Tennis Center! The work is beginning at the north side of the building, where the crew will remove old insulation and the membrane. STPC is taking steps with the contractor to ensure that air flow is adequate with fans and by keeping the garage doors open. Those with sensitivity to insulation fibers and diesel fuel may want to consider playing on the outdoor courts. We are very excited that this work has started, and we thank everyone that has contributed towards this project.
