Did you know the Town of Mount Pleasant has a new GIS site that includes zoning information, recommended land use, height, flood zone and aerial imagery?
New Millage Rate
The Town of Mount Pleasant’s millage rate was recently established for Tax Year 2020. This is a property reassessment year and the Town experienced an overall increase of 13.2% in property values over last year. 
Face Mask Ordinance Passes
A temporary ordinance requires persons to wear face coverings in certain circumstances in the Town of Mount Pleasant to reduce risk of exposure to COVID-19. 
Business Appreciation Month
September was Business Appreciation Month in Mount Pleasant. It included a proclamation, major social media campaign, and the sponsoring of the first virtual Mount Pleasant Business Expo. Read here.
