Town Administrator's Newsletter
A weekly news round-up from the Town of Henniker, NH
|
|
Greetings!
I am pleased to announce the launch of the Town Administrator's newsletter "Henniker Happenings" providing information for residents on major projects and efforts of the Town. Town staff and committees are constantly working to sustain and improve the quality of life in Henniker.
In this newsletter, I hope to provide brief news items from the Town Department heads on the status of projects as well as other information residents might find useful. My goal is to have a new edition of the newsletter rolled out every other week. We will put the newsletter on the Town's website, and it will be on the Town's Facebook page. This newsletter will be different than the one we already produce, as it will be devoted to town and department updates.
If you have questions on specific Town projects, drop me an email:
townadministrator@henniker.org
and I'll try to get the information for a future newsletter. I hope you find this additional effort to provide information on your Municipal government useful.

Henniker's Virtual Town Hall
With COVID-19 we've been working towards making Henniker’s Town Hall and other municipal services virtual; given the inherent limitations in technology, staffing, laws/rules and funding.
In effect, only urgent in-person transactions are now being processed at the Town Hall/Town departments, and these are by appointment only so be sure to call ahead. Most business can be accomplished electronically at

HENNIKER RESIDENTS: BEING COUNTED IN THE 2020 CENSUS MATTERS!
You are an important part of the Town of Henniker’s story. You can make sure Henniker’s story is told by RESPONDING to the 2020 Census. The Census is a count of everyone living in the United States as of the 1st of April 2020. When you respond, you will help our town get the most Complete Count possible!
RESPONDING is important for Henniker. Census results affect our voice in government, how much funding our community receives, and how our community plans for the future.
Invitations from the US Census Bureau arrived in Henniker mailboxes this week!

TOWN OF HENNIKER TRAILS MAP
Henniker is known for great public schools, New England College and plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation. While most residents, and many visitors, are familiar with Pats Peak or the Craney Hill Fire Tower, there are numerous other venues in Town for outdoor recreation.
In an effort to provide a useful map please use this trail system map to find other places to explore here in Henniker.
