Special Announcements from Town Hall
March 3/22/20
* This Bulletin has 3 Sections *
Dear residents, friends & neighbors:

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Section 1
We are closing Town Hall until further notice . We hope this is not an inconvenience for anyone but in order to protect staff and residents it is imperative we are separated, as you know. Most town services can be obtained on the internet from our website , through the mail , using our drop box or using the telephone . If you call Town Hall and make an appointment, we will be able to meet you and take care of whatever you need.

The Tax Collecto r works at Town Hall Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm &
9:00 am - Noon on Saturdays . You can call Town Hall at (845) 724-5600 to speak with Tax Collector, Kathi Wellman (ext. 109) to let her know you would like to come and pay taxes or get a receipt. You cannot just walk into Town Hall but must call first.

The Recycling Center will maintain regular hours: Wednesday, 8 am -4:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Call Town Hall with any questions.

Please be advised that all other Town Staff are working during this time either from home or outdoors. We have remote access to our computers to work from home all day; we are using web conferencing to continue regular staff meetings and to work with outsiders on projects. Everyone can be reached by dialing their extension, as heard on the main recording. All phones will be forwarded and you will speak with or get a call back from the person in the Department you need right away.

The Park staff are hard at work on outside maintenance projects and the Highway Department crew is also outside preparing roads for spring paving and conducting normal road maintenance. All social distancing rules are being followed while our crews continue to work hard. This is a tough time for everyone and we do not want to let you down.

TOWN BOARD MEETING ON MARCH 19th - Section 2
Please see the meeting Agenda and accompanying paperwork for the most important discussion that night, below. Feel free to call me with any questions about the meeting and our Highway Superintendent, Ed Kading about the road plan.

The Town board also asks you to notify Town Hall if you know a senior or any resident that may need help with grocery or pharmacy pick up, meal distribution or has any other serious needs . Please email or call the Town Clerk and she will give us the information so we can coordinate help.
