Our Town Center Grand Opening is Finally Here
Come, enjoy a day filled with festivities, Saturday, April 27

It’s been a long time coming – but the day to celebrate the completion of the city’s Town Center is upon us. On Saturday, April 27, the afternoon will be filled with fun activities, music, food and more as we revel in the culmination of years of planning, designing and constructing of our Town Center.

ASHRAE to Relocate World Headquarters to Technology Park

One of the nation's top leaders in developing standards and guidelines for indoor-environment-control technology announced recently it had purchased the former Recall building at 180 Technology Parkway for its world headquarters.

Traffic Alert:
For those who travel on S.R. 141 south of Holcomb Bridge Road, please be aware of overnight lane closures.
Georgia DOT is repaving S.R. 141 between Holcomb Bridge Road and I-285; work will occur between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Please use caution and expect traffic to slow while the work is done.
The road improvement project includes milling, inlay and resurfacing -- the work is expected to be complete by the end of August barring any weather delays. Before heading out, call 511 or visit   Georgia 511  to get the latest on traffic conditions.
Fortune 500 Company Relocates to Peachtree Corners

Wealth management firm MassMutual, a Fortune 500 company, has relocated its Perimeter headquarters to Peachtree Corners.

"Private investment and job growth continue," said Mayor Mike Mason. "Our efforts are paying dividends as we continue seeing small and large companies relocating or establishing new businesses in our city.
Students Receive Education Grant
Students receive grant
Peachtree Corners, long associated with Paul Duke and Technology Park Atlanta, has partnered with Paul Duke STEM High School to assist in advancing the school’s drone program.
The school received a $2,000 grant to help launch an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Program (UAV).   Read More
Arbor Day 2018
Arbor Day Event Set for April 26

The city's annual Arbor Day celebration is Friday, April 26. This year it will be held at Paul Duke STEM High School at 11 a.m. T he public is welcome to attend and take home a little “Arbor” in the form of a tree seedling. Find more information on this year's celebration here .

The city's annual free electronics recycling and paper shredding event will be held at the Peachtree Corners City Hall on Saturday, April 13.

Annual Burn Begins May 1

The annual burn ban officially begins on May 1 and continues until September 30. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) imposes a total ban on outdoor burning in 54 counties - including Gwinnett.

Veterans Monument Update

The work on the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument is nearly complete. The flagpoles have been installed. The lighting for the flagpoles, kiosks and sculptures will be installed shortly. Flags will be raised on April 27 as part of the Town Center Grand Opening event.

Coming Soon: Coding and Data Science
Boot Camps
The first Coding Boot Camp was so popular, Prototype Prime is again collaborating with Georgia Tech to offer a second Coding Boot Camp.

The 24-week classes begin on May 28 and cover front-end and back-end technologies. Visit Georgia Tech Professional Education coding boot camp for more information.

Additionally GTPE will offer two Data Science Boot Camps beginning in early August. Contact Betsy Plattenburg for more information on the classes.
