Mark your calendars for the annual Holiday Glow in the Corners Parade. This year the parade will be held on a new date and at a new location. The parade takes place on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. at 6575 The Corners Parkway.
On Sunday, Nov. 4, civic leaders and residents gathered along a newly completed section of sidewalk on Winters Chapel Road to celebrate the completion of the last section of sidewalk along this busy road.
To reduce traffic backups and keep traffic moving at the intersection of Peachtree Corners Circle and Medlock Bridge Road, the "T" intersection will be converted to a roundabout.
By the end of the year, sidewalk construction on a section along Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Holcomb Bridge Road that sees heavy pedestrian traffic is expected to be complete.
A majority of voters in Peachtree Corners cast their ballots in favor of the referendum to allow restaurants located within city limits to sell and serve distilled spirits and alcoholic beverages by the drink on Sundays beginning at 11 a.m.

Bicentennial Torch Delivered to City Hall
A dozen high school runners delivered the Bicentennial Torch on Nov. 1. It's all part of a 200 mile, 36-stop journey that will culminate at the County's 200th Birthday Celebration on Dec. 15 at the Infinite Energy Center.
The torch will be displayed at City Hall until Nov. 15.
