Thank you to everyone who joined me for my Virtual Town Hall on Monday, April 19, with special guest County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. Representatives from the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System, Office of Community Relations, Department of the Environment, Department of Public Works and Transportation, and Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement provided updates to residents.

During the event I was honored to recognize more than 60 individuals and organizations as “District 3 Community Champions” who have gone above-and-beyond to support and assist the community during this extremely challenging time. I also provided updates on what’s happening across District 3 and the County and urged residents to engage with the Fiscal Year 2022 County Budget.

Walk-Up Vaccines Available
In Prince George's County, Maryland and across the entire country, all individuals age 16+ are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

I highly recommend you make an appointment to receive your vaccine, however, the FEMA vaccination site at the Greenbelt Metro is providing vaccines to walk-up individuals without an appointment on the following days and times:

Monday and Tuesday 9am - 1pm
Wednesday and Thursday 2pm - 6pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11am - 3pm

You can also pre-register or make an appointment online here:

The Prince George's County Memorial Library System has launched a Vaccine Hunter Hotline to assist residents in English and Spanish. Call 240-392-3622 Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for assistance.
Make Your Voice Heard on County Budget Priorities
Please make your voice heard on the Prince George's County Fiscal Year 2022 Budget by testifying at one of our upcoming budget hearings: April 26 or May 4. You must sign up to speak by 3:00 p.m. the day prior to the hearing. Each person may speak for up to 3 minutes.

This year it's easier than ever as you can wait for your turn to speak at our virtual hearing in the comfort of your home.

WMATA Station Closures
WMATA is hosting Virtual Information Sessions on April 28 and 29 to provide residents with detailed information about the upcoming closures at Greenbelt, College Park-U of Md, Prince George’s Plaza and West Hyattsville stations from May 29 through September 6, 2021, for platform rehabilitation.
