Early Voting

As a reminder, 14 days of Early Voting will take place in the Town Hall Ludlow Room at 275 Broad Street Windsor, CT beginning October 19 – November 1, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please note on October 27 & 29 there are extended hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

On Election Day Tuesday, November 3, 2026, electors shall vote at their respective polling locations during the hours of 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Windsor Lion's Club Fall Arts & Crafts Fair

The Windsor Lion’s Club Fall Arts & Crafts Fair will be held this coming Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the Windsor Town Green. Stop by to see a variety of talented craftspeople and their artware. Event takes place rain or shine.

Windsor in Progress Workshop

There will be a Windsor in Progress workshop on October 28, 2026 at 6:30 PM. This will focus on celebrating 2026 and looking forward. The event will take place at Town Hall in the Council Chambers beginning with a mingling and connecting component, followed by a presentation and Q&A. All are welcome to attend

Farmer's Market

The last two Farmer’s Markets for this season will take place on October 8th and October 15th.

Pedestrian Bridge Repair and Replacement Project

Over the next few weeks, work will begin on the previously approved project to repair and replace several pedestrian bridges throughout town.


Pedestrian bridges at Custer Park, Stroh Park, and Wilson Park will be replaced. Preparatory work will begin the week of October 12, with the Custer and Stroh Park bridge replacements anticipated for October 13 and the Wilson Park bridge replacement anticipated for October 15. Minor restoration work around the bridge locations is expected to continue during the week of October 19.


Repairs will also be completed on the pedestrian bridges at River Center Trail and Sharshon Park. Work is anticipated to begin the week of October 12 at the River Center Trail bridge and is expected to take approximately four to six weeks. Once that work is complete, the contractor will move to the Sharshon Park bridge, where repairs are expected to take approximately three to four weeks. Both bridges will remain closed for the duration of construction.


Abutting property owners have been notified, and updates will also be shared with the general public through the Town website and social media.

Repaving of Marshall Phelps Road

Preparation for repaving Marshall Phelps Road between Day Hill and Bloomfield Avenue continues.  Milling of the existing roadway is scheduled for the week of October 12th. This work is scheduled to take place during the overnight hours. Paving is currently scheduled for the week of October 26th.
