Absentee Ballots

The Town Clerk’s Office is actively preparing for the November 3, 2026 General Election. Absentee ballots will be available beginning Friday, October 2, 2026, during normal business hours of Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Absentee Ballot Applications may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office. Voters may also submit an application online at myvote.ct.gov/absentee.

Once an Absentee Ballot Application has been received, a ballot will be mailed to eligible voters. Voters are encouraged to return their completed absentee ballots as soon as possible. All absentee ballots must be received by no later than 8:00 PM on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026. 

Voters are strongly encouraged to use the Official Ballot Drop Box, located in the rear parking lot of Windsor Town Hall at 275 Broad Street, Windsor, CT 06095, when returning absentee ballot applications or completed absentee ballots.

2026 Flu Vaccine Clinics

The Windsor Health Department will be hosting several Flu Vaccine Clinics over the month of October for persons 18yo+.  The public clinics will be held on the following dates:

• Thursday, October 8 | 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM | Senior Health Fair at 330 Windsor Ave

• Monday, October 12 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Wilson Branch Library

• Wednesday, October 21 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Windsor Main Library

All clinics are walk-in clinics, no appointments needed. A reminder to wear short sleeves and to bring insurance card(s).

The Health Department will also be hosting a vaccine clinic with Beacon Pharmacy on Wednesday, October 28th at Town Hall from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Beacon Pharmacy will have the COVID-19 vaccine and flu vaccine available and are able to vaccinate persons 3 years old and older.

Windsor Lion's Club Fall Arts & Crafts Fair

The Windsor Lion’s Club Fall Arts & Crafts Fair will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the Windsor Town Green. Stop by to see a variety of talented craftspeople and their artware. Event takes place rain or shine.

Free Shred Day

Windsor Federal Bank, 270 Broad Street, will be having a free shred day on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Up to two medium boxes/bags are allowed. No binders or notebooks allowed. Please bring non-perishable food items or a monetary donation to support the Windsor Food and Fuel Bank.
