Happy Veteran's Day!

On this Veterans Day, we salute the selfless men and women who have served our nation. These heroes have faced adversity with unwavering dedication. They've protected our freedom and sacrificed for a greater cause, reminding us of the values that unite us.

Veterans, from all walks of life, embody unity. They've served in times of peace and conflict, defending our nation with honor. Their diversity is a testament to our shared American spirit.

We also recognize the families who've supported our veterans, enduring their own sacrifices.

Let's remember that veterans contribute to our society in countless ways, and we owe them our gratitude. Beyond this day, let's ensure they have the care and opportunities they deserve.

To our veterans, we offer our heartfelt thanks. Your heroism and sacrifices will forever be in our hearts. Happy Veterans Day!

Paradise Valley Public Works'

New Team Member

The Public Works Department welcomes Ty-Kua (Ty) DeMartino, as a new Public Works Technician on October 30, 2023. Ty is a part of the 7-employee street maintenance team working to keep streets and complexes maintained and in good working condition.

Originally from California, Ty moved to Arizona as a child and grew up here in the Valley of the Sun. Ty is joining Public Works after starting his working career in the food service industry. With some experience in landscape maintenance, Ty is eager to join the Town and has already been a major help to the department.

When Ty is not hard at work, he enjoys playing basketball in his free time. What drew him to the Town of Paradise Valley is working in the public sector and the natural beauty of the Town. The Public Works Team is happy to bring Ty aboard, and excited to watch his career grow.

PVPD Blood Drive at Town Hall

Last week, our community rallied for the Town Blood Drive, organized by our Police Department Volunteers in collaboration with the American Red Cross Blood Services. We're thrilled to announce that we surpassed our goal of 32 units by collecting 33 units of blood, potentially saving 33+ lives!

Huge kudos to our dedicated volunteers for their phenomenal effort in making this event a reality. Your commitment to the community is truly inspiring. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to every blood donor for their selfless act of compassion.

This remarkable success demonstrates the power of community and unity. Thank you again for making this event a success!
