Jonathan Snow, a life-long explorer whose career has taken him to all corners of the earth, will share his knowledge about undersea volcanoes. Snow specializes in the physical and chemical processes by which volcanic magmas form, which affords us lots of information about the shifting of the Earth’s surface. His presentation will cover his Arctic Ocean expeditions, his inspiration, his research, and the importance of studying the world’s phenomenal geological processes.
A slide show from his travels will be a part of his presentation. Learn more about Jonathan Snow’s work here.
