FREE at-home COVID tests
for Boonton Residents
PICK-UP ONLY:

Limited quantities are available.1 box (containing 2 tests), per household only.
Current proof of residence is required.

Snow Removal
Removing snow and ice keeps our sidewalks safe for walking during winter. If you are the owner or caretaker of a house, building, or lot where there is a sidewalk, you must clear a three-foot-wide path for the entire length of the sidewalk within the first 12 hours of daylight after it stops snowing. Holiday Closures &
Garbage Collection
In observance of Presidents' Day, Town Hall and municipal offices will be closed Monday, February 20th. The regular Town Council Meeting will be held on February 21st.

Garbage Collection will occur as usual.
ANCHOR Property Tax Rebate Deadline Extended

Attention 2023 Election Candidates

The Deadline to submit Petitions for the Town Council and Mayoral Primary Election and County Committee Members in all four Wards and Districts is 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023. You must submit any Petitions to the Town Clerk by the posted date and time in order to run.

Digital Sign at Town Hall
Complete your request for the digital sign on our website with a simple form. The Town of Boonton will use the digital billboard in front of Town Hall to display messages from locally-based charitable, civic, sports, and other local not-for-profit organizations along with town messages and public service announcements. Project Updates

Darress Theatre
An update was presented at the 12/19/22 Town Council Meeting, to view the presentation or read the minutes, visit the Agenda Center on the Town website here.

TAP Grant
The Town of Boonton was awarded over $1 million to improve Main Street. The design phase of this project is nearly complete. Once finalized, the public will have time to review the plans and provide feedback. More information will be shared on the website, social media, and at Town Council meetings as it becomes available.
