Seasonal Reminders and Notices
Snow Removal
Removing snow and ice keeps our sidewalks safe for walking during winter. If you are the owner or caretaker of a house, building, or lot where there is a sidewalk, you must clear a three-foot-wide path for the entire length of the sidewalk within the first 12 hours of daylight after it stops snowing. Holiday Closures &
Garbage Collection

In observance of Presidents' Day, Town Hall, municipal offices, and the recycling center will be closed Monday, February 19th. The regular Town Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.


Garbage Collection will occur

as usual.

Dog Licenses Renewal

Dog Licenses Expire Annually on January 31st.

Renew ASAP – starting March 1st a $15 late fee will be applied to each license fee.

If you are facing financial difficulties and need assistance paying your bills, the NJ Department of Consumer Affairs program may be able to help.

Boonton Parks and Recreation invites you to "Guess the Hearts in the Jar"

In our small town with a big heart, we're celebrating the season of love. Drop by Town Hall to participate in our 'Guess the Hearts in the Jar' contest. The sweetest surprise awaits the one who comes closest to the actual count!" Stop by the Town Hall and make your guess! All entries must be submitted in the ballot box by

Feb 9th at 4 pm.

This year we are dedicating our Valentine’s program to the public servants within the Departments of Public Works. We don’t have to explain to you why our DPWs deserve thanks for their tireless work all year. Residents are invited to mail Valentine’s Day cards for public works employees at my district office in Livingston, starting today through Friday, February 9, 2024.

Summer Camp Registration is Open!

Boonton Recreation Summer Camp registration will all run through RecDesk this year! Registration is now open so be sure to take advantage of the discounted early bird rate which ends May 1st at 12 noon. All camp information, calendar of events, and payment information are in the registration info at

Camp Counselor Opportunities

Boonton Recreation is now accepting applications for Camp Counselors.  Please fill out the google form to apply. All requirements are listed on the application. Applications will be accepted until March 31st.

Adult Pickleball Open Play

Tuesdays and Wednesdays Jan 30th – Feb 28th at John Hill School. This program is good for all skill levels.  Must be 18+ Go to Boonton.RecDesk.com to register. Space is limited!


Hats Off For Helmets Contest 2024

Yoga with Erika Sherger

Payment for classes is through RecDesk only.  Please go to Boonton.RecDesk.com and click on the Yoga Memberships are now available for purchase! The class schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays 6-7 pm at the Senior Center and will be outside weather permitting for the fall.

 

Coaches and Instructors Needed

Boonton Recreation is looking for coaches and instructors for various programs.  If you are interested in coaching, instructing, or volunteering, please send your interests and qualifications with availability to Recreation Director Tracy Pryer – [email protected]

 

PSAT Review Classes
