Seasonal Reminders

Town Hall and Offices Closed Monday, October 10th

In observance of Columbus Day Town Hall and Town Offices will be closed. Garbage Collection will occur as usual.

Fall Leaf Pick Up Schedule

The DPW will begin Fall Leaf Pick up toward the end of October. See the instructions and schedule here or on the DPW page.

Kanouse Street Playground

The new play structure is being installed and work is scheduled to finish up shortly Stay tuned for reopening updates.

October 18th is Voter Registration Deadline

October 18, 2022 is the last day to register for the November 8th election. Learn how to register here or visit the Town Clerk's webpage.

Flu Clinic October 25th

Mayor Corcoran and Town of Boonton Health Department are pleased to present the 2022 Flu Clinic Tuesday, October 25 4:00pm-6:00pm

Scheduled Road Closures

Main Street to be closed Friday Oct 7th

Due to the BMS First Friday Event, Main Street will be closed approximately 4-10pm on 10/7.

Meetings occur in person at Town Hall located at 100 Washington St., Boonton, NJ at 7:30 pm unless otherwise noted on the Town website.

Gateway Event: Navigating Hope Van

October 5th, 4-7pm

Scarecrow Build-Off

October 6th, 5-8 pm, Canal Side Park

We provide the post and one bale of hay to help

build the scarecrow of your imagination. Scarecrows will be displayed throughout the Town during the month of October. Enjoy live entertainment and food trucks. To build a scarecrow, go to Boonton.RecDesk.com to sign up. The event is free for spectators and for access to food and entertainment.

BMS Music on Main Summer Concert Series Extended!

October 7th - rescheduled from August

Live Music, Dining, and Shopping on Main Street. Main Street will be closed, parking will be available at public lots, see more details here. This event is made possible by BMS, NPP, and the Town of Boonton. This event is to replace the canceled event in August. MAIN STREET WILL BE CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT.

Trick or Treat Trail Displays Wanted!

Yoga with Erika Sherger

Payment for classes is through RecDesk only. Please go to Boonton.RecDesk.com and click on the Yoga tab. Memberships are now available for purchase! As summer comes to a close, we will resume our normal schedule of Mondays and Wednesdays starting October 5^th at the Senior Center.

NPP Commercial Façade Grant Program

Boonton's Main Street was designated a Neighborhood Preservation Program in 2021, with grant funding for 5 years. Part of those funds are for Commercial Façade Improvements within the NPP District. See the link below to learn more and apply for a Facade Grant.

NJEDA Unveils NEW Small Business Grant

The NJEDA recently announced the Main Street Micro Business Loan; the application period begins October 6th.
