The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will host a webinar for Connecticut residents who are now teleworking as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar, titled “Best Teleworking Practices – The Road to Success for Employees”, will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 from 12 noon to 1pm. The webinar will focus on best practices that will allow teleworkers to succeed in their new work arrangement. Topics will include setting up a productive home work environment, goal-setting, how to provide feedback and updates to managers, how to establish work/life balance, how to deal with distractions, and more.

Connecticut Insurance Department calls on auto insurers to lower personal auto premiums and expand certain commercial auto insurance: Connecticut Insurance Department Commissioner Andrew N. Mais is calling on insurers to immediately lower personal vehicle premiums and expand commercial hired and non-owned and auto insurance in light of the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This Thursday the Department of Economic and Community Development is bringing together representatives from the Connecticut Insurance Department, the Department of Banking and the Small Business Administration for a CONFERENCE CALL to provide more details on state and federal COVID-19 relief programs and answer key questions.
