Closure of Legacy Drive at First Street to Begin March 21

Beginning March 21, Legacy Drive north of First Street will be temporarily closed for roadway construction. This closure is necessary to expedite the completion of the First Street (Stuber Elementary to Dallas North Tollway) project and ensure a smooth and efficient roadway connection.

What's to Come

The Town is constructing four lanes of Legacy Drive from First Street to the existing improvements in Star Trail. This will complete a key missing section and enhance connectivity.

Project Timeline

Legacy Drive north of First Street is expected to reopen by the end of July 2025. The overall project is anticipated to be completed by Fall 2025, weather permitting.

Detour Routes

While Legacy Drive is closed, residents can use the following alternate routes:

  • Prosper Trail between Legacy Drive and Teel Parkway provides a direct east-west alternative.
  • Starwood Drive and other internal neighborhood routes can be used to access the main roads.
