KIDSPORT WAINWRIGHT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Sponsorship opportunities are welcome for the annual Kidsport Wainwright Charity Golf Tournament. Options include being a major, hole in one or event sponsor. Prize/cash donations are also welcome. Please note that we are flexible and open to discuss a variety of sponsorship ideas. Kidsport would love to have you and your organization as part of our event. Every dollar raised stays right in the Wainwright area to help ensure all children have the opportunity to take part in organized sports. This is a program that continues to be very well used and we hope to fund as many children as possible.

ONLINE CRIME REPORTING

Online Crime Reporting (OCR) offers an alternative and convenient way for people to report non-emergent crime without having to call the police or visit the detachment.

All reports received through OCR are forwarded to the Call Back Unit for investigation and completion. Use of online crime reporting by the public provides frontline members the chance to spend more time on the road being proactive.

The OCR tool can be accessed by using the link https://ocre-sielc.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/alberta or with the QR code that is printed on the below information card. The OCR tool is also available on the RCMP app, which is already seeing steady use by industry.

2023 PROPERTY INSPECTIONS

This notice is to inform Town of Wainwright ratepayers that re-inspection of properties for assessment purposes will commence the week of May 1st, 2023. Properties east of 14th Street, north of 8th Avenue and south of 14th Avenue will be re-inspected. In addition, any other properties requiring review throughout the Town of Wainwright will also be re-inspected.

Inspections will be done by Wainwright Assessment Group Ltd. and will be completed around the end of December 2023. Assessors will be on site and show I.D. when occupants are present and leave notes in doors and proceed with an exterior inspection when no one is at the property.
