This vacancy is due to the retirement of the Township's long-serving manager after a productive and successful tenure of 10 years. The new manager will inherit a strong professional staff, and work with highly regarded legal, engineering and planning professionals.

Medford Township is a vibrant full-service municipality characterized by a strong local economy, an extensive network of parks and open spaces, a comprehensive police department, and a hybrid paid/volunteer fire department. Additionally, there is a full-service public works department that is also responsible for a public water and public sewer utility. Household waste and recycling is handled by a third party vendor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Medford's next manager will work in a safe, comfortable and attractive environment. The Manager's Office is located in the Township's new neo-traditional municipal building (completed in 2021). The building features modern security features, a ground floor library, and is a short walk to the Township's historic Main Street, which features quaint shops, cafes, restaurants, personal services and breweries.
