March is American Red Cross Month

Awareness - March is Red Cross Month.jpg

Did you know the American Red Cross was founded in 1881 by New Jersey resident and prominent trailblazer Clara Barton, whose work during the Civil War earned her the nickname “Angel of the Battlefield” and “Florence Nightingale of America.” One hundred forty-one years later, the Red Cross has adapted to the changing times while never losing sight of its roots, continuing its high level of compassionate service on which it was established.
