Kitten season is here, and we know your first instinct is to help. Before moving or picking up found kittens, please take a moment to review this helpful guide on what to do when you find kittens in Hamilton Township Animal Shelter & Adoption Center.


In many cases, mom is nearby and the best thing we can do is give her the chance to return. Knowing when to step in can truly save lives.


If you are unsure what to do or believe the kittens are in immediate danger, please contact our shelter for guidance. Together, we can help keep these tiny lives safe.

Featured: Connecticut Avenue Park - Located on Connecticut Avenue, between Walnut Avenue and Greenwood Avenue, this 1.08 acre park was recently renovated to include a new poured-in-place children's activity center. Walking paths and benches are also featured in the grounds.

Join County Executive Dan Benson and the Board of County Commissioners for a Memorial Day Ceremony on May 24th at 11:00 AM. The event will take place in the Field of Honor Veteran Section at Greenwood Cemetery, located at 1800 Hamilton Ave, Hamilton, NJ.


This ceremony offers a meaningful opportunity for the community to come together and honor the sacrifices made by our brave men and women in uniform. We invite you to attend and show your support as we pay tribute to those who have served our country.

Sunday, May 17th

Kuser Mansion will be open for tours from 11 AM to 4 PM. The last walk-through tour will start at 2:15 PM. Call 609-890-3630 or visit our website at www.HamiltonNJ.com/KuserMansion for updates and upcoming events at the Kuser Mansion.


The Historical Society of Hamilton reminds you that the John Abbott House (2200 Kuser Road) is open for free tours from 1 PM to 4:30 PM, with the last tour beginning at 4 PM.


Monday, May 18th

The Library Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet in a lower-level meeting room in the Library (1 Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. Way) beginning at 5 PM.


Tuesday, May 19th

The Hamilton Township Division of Health (2100 Greenwood Ave) provides a confidential, free STI clinic open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Residents of Hamilton Township, East Windsor, Ewing, Hightstown, Hopewell Township, Lawrence, Princeton, Robbinsville, and West Windsor are eligible for services. Walk-ins are accepted.
